What changes the price of a heat pump install

The biggest cost driver is the size of the unit, and that comes down to the room and the house. What should be in a supply-and-install quote

A price that only covers the unit isn't a real price. Our quotes for heat pump installation are supply and install, so you're comparing apples with apples. That means the unit itself, brackets and mounts, the pipework and cabling, the electrical connection, and commissioning it so it's running right before we leave.

Ask any installer to spell out what's included. If one quote looks cheap, it's often because something below has been left off and it lands on you later.

Single room, multi-split or ducted

The Warmer Kiwi Homes grant can cover up to 80% of the cost of an approved heater, capped at $3,000, if you own and live in the home and meet the income or Community Services Card criteria. You apply through EECA, not through us, and they confirm what you're eligible for.
