Why Southland homes need the right size unit
Our winters are long and the frosts are hard, and the southerlies coming off Foveaux Strait carry a damp cold that gets into everything. A heat pump that's fine in Auckland can end up undersized down here, running flat out on the coldest mornings and never quite catching up.

Older villas and newer builds heat differently

It's run through EECA, and you apply to them directly. We're not an EECA provider, so we can't sign you up, but we're happy to fit a unit once you've sorted your funding.
